David's 1st month

How time flies so fast! My little boy is one month today. It feels like I just gave birth! Haha. 

Since this is a very important day for my small family, we decided to prepare something for lunch. I cooked spaghetti, chicken and we bought David a cake. 

And today is also memorable because this is the FIRST time we had a family photo. Can you believe that? Hahaha.

The Grumpy Mommy's second baby is here!

I finally gave birth to our second child last week, February 16, 2015, 6:47 pm via C Section. We named him, David.

I woke up 6am Monday morning to prepare my daughter to school and when I went to the restroom to pee, I noticed that water's been flowing continuously. It was the amnionyic fluid, my waterbag broke. I went to the hospital and met my husband there and went straight to the Emergency room. 

I was on VBAC plan but the baby was cord coil and my cervix did not fully dilated (2cm only) and had to decide I will have a C Section instead. Though I was a bit disappointed, I am still thankful that my baby boy was safe. 

We stayed at the hospital for four days and was discharged last Thursday. It's really good to be home and be with family. Now, i am resting and still a little bit overwhelmed with all that happened and still adjusting with the "puyat sessions" I am in right now. I even feel I am having baby blues. But anyway, all is well and God has been so good to me and my family. 

Del Monte Bone Smart

Since I am on my second pregnancy and I should be taking more calcium now, I was really hesitant at first because I am not a fan of vitamins. Tamad akong uminom ng mga gamot lalo na at ang gamot ng mga buntis ay nakakatakot sa laki. Haha. Thanks to my sister-in-law for introducing Del Monte Bone Smart to me because I get to enjoy juice drinks and get calcium at the same time. The one on the photo is their new flavor. They now have pineapple and orange flavors. 

It says on the package that drinking this is equivalent to 2 glasses of milk, oh diba bongga?! This is really good for those who are like me na takot sa gamot na malalaki. Haha. One can of Bone Smart is 25 pesos in grocery stores, not bad naman since this is for you and your baby. :)

Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to all awesome Daddy around the world!

We celebrated Father's Day last Sunday at SM Mall of Asia and ate at Burger King and the highlight of this was when we went to Swensen's, I won a gift certificate from Instagram! Yay! So timing for this celebration!

This is the Hurricane Ice Cream! We didn't finish this 5 scoop ice cream but it was so delicious! It's not too sweet. I think this is good for 3-5 person already. I forgot how much it cost but I think it's around 400 pesos, but we got this for free! Weee!

We had so much fun eating here and every bite is so worth it! 

Amber's 3rd Birthday

We didn't plan a party for her this year. All we wanted was to make her happy by taking her somewhere she will enjoy. We first thought of bringing her to Manila Zoo so she could see the animals in real life but when my brother told me about Yexel's Toy Museum and checked their FB page, I convinced my husband to go there instead.

To check out the complete photos in the Toy Museum you can click here. My daughter was so happy with the toys but at the same time, but there were instances where she was so scared and even cried because of dark rooms and weird music inside the toy museum. Here are some of the photos I like.

After the Toy Museum, we headed back home to celebrate with family. We sister prepared Bake Mac and all cakes were sponsored by Amber's Ninong and Ninangs. :)

It was a very tiring but fun day because Amber was happy and we also enjoyed the day. Happy Birthday to my one and only daughter!

Hospital Photos

I apologize for not posting photos from the hospital. I was so busy when we got home last Monday. My daughter was sick when we got home so I had to bring her to her doctor for checkup. Then I got a job for Transcription on TueThissday, and it's now occupying my time. :)

Just want to share with you two photos I took from my laptop's webcam. I haven't uploaded the photos from my camera but I will do that when I get the time.

This was taken around afternoon when he was brought back to our room. I was not able to talk to him because he was so groggy.

This was taken the day after his operation. He was able to sit down and eat.

Blogging here at the Hospital

We are here at UERM Medical Center because Jerwin will undergo surgery on his right ear. We got admitted around 2pm today and we're still waiting for his Chest Xray clearance because it was diagnosed that he has Pneumonitis. I pray that he gets cleared so the surgery will push through. 

We will be here, hopefully in 5 days. Just now, I want to go home already. I miss my daughter.
